President Clinton and Choppers?

Today we went to see the chopper exhibit at the William Clinton Presidential Library. It was pretty neat to see all the elaborate motorcycles (until I started thinking how much money these people were putting on 2 wheels and hurling down the highway at 80 miles an hour then I got a little sick to my stomach :)ha ha) I really wasn't sure why they were in a presidential library, but it was neat to also learn about Clinton.

So here is the library, right on the Arkansas river. It a very pretty building.

When we first walked in, we saw the presidential limo that he rode in. They also had a little secret service display of all their cool gear. Derek liked it.

Then on to some choppers...

How people would trust that a hollow rim would hold them up is beyond me :)

They had an exact replica of what the oval office looked lke while Clinton was in office. That was pretty cool.

We got to see some of the china they had. It was quite pretty.

The gallery of artists.

Saxophones... because thats what he played.

And then there's this. Im scared of it. Apparently there are two of them, they were gifts and are supposed to be Christmas trees. They are 9 feet tall and scary. Amazing talent and Im sure beautiful to most, but scary to me.

Keiths mom wanted me to photograph this because it is also her history. She was in school with Billy (one year behind him). They also lived across the street from each other for a while and I guess her mother did not get along with Mrs. Clinton. :) That made me smile a little. Small town and everyone knows everyone else. Im so not used to that.

And to finish off my post, my 2 favorite bikes. I would ride these all over town and back!

hey, we have one of those weird christmas tree things in the Abrevanal Hall in Salt Lake. I wonder if it is the same "artist"?

Those are some really nice choppers, I never even knew Clinton liked bikes. What city is that in?
