For Christmas, my mother in law gave me some money and a free babysitting pass. Tonight Keith and I decided to use it for our first date in a LONG TIME. :) We decided to do a traditional dinner and a movie because we haven't done that since we've been married.
First we went to TGI Fridays because thats my favorite place to eat.
I love the Jack Daniels Grill chicken and potatoes. I was so hungry that here is a picture of my partially eaten plate. :)
Keith was starving. Here is him enjoying food without kids trying to mooch off of him.
Our waitress was Abbi. She was so cute and happy all the time. I had to get a picture of the back of her shirt cause it made me laugh.
After dinner we went to the Rave theater to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It was pretty cute.
By the time the movie was over, it was 1:00 and we still had an hour drive home. We were so exhausted by the time we walked in the door, yet I'm still up posting this because I couldn't go to sleep right now even if I tried. :)

I'm glad you did a date night. It's important to do that frequently, even it's to just go for a walk together. It keeps your romance alive.
How fun! Congrats on the night out alone together! Hopefully you won't have to wait so long next time! :-)
So what is a date like? I can't remember...
ha ha ha that's the point where we were. We also had a rule that we couldn't talk about the kids, things that needed to be done or Keiths work...it was very akward at first, but man it was nice after you get into the swing of things :)
