To Abilene... again :)

My dad got back last night, so we got to hang out with him today. We decided to go up to Abilene to see the Frontier Texas history museum.


This museum is all about this area of Texas pre 1880s. It's mainly holographic and really neat if you like history. Cassies favorite part was petting all the animals, even when they were being attacked. She also wanted to give the wolf below the buffalo a kiss for its "boo-boo".

They had an old stage coach which Derek loved. They also had a saloon. When you walked into the saloon, the holographic bartender and holographic frontiersmen would appear and have conversations. Pretty cool.


Dereks most favorite part I think was the gun display. He loves old west guns and rifles. He was able to pick Keiths out almost instantly. It was pretty awesome.

Afterwards, we came home, had some dinner, and went to the park until bedtime. The kids love spooky old park.
