Dinosaur Valley State Park and Dr Pepper

Today we took a little trek towards East Texas to visit Dinosaur Valley State park. Some of the best preserved tracks were found in this valley and I thought the boys would really like that. They had 2 huge dino statues out front and they thought that was too neat.

They mostly enjoyed just roaming around the park making up stories about what the dinosaurs were doing here and looking for fossils.

Here are a couple of the meat eater tracks we found. Most of the better tracks were exavated and are now in museums, but you could still see alot of the tracks.

On our way back home. We decided to stop at a Dr Pepper shrine store. It was just a cute little shop/bottling facility that hasnt changed much in over 100 years. We got Dr. Pepper and went along on our merry way.

I love that Dr. Pepper store, or at least I think I would love it.

The dinosaurs sound awesome. I would have loved going somewhere like that as a kid, I was once obsessed with dinos lol

it was very cool. It was so small! And we could barely get in because there were 3 little tables and they were full with people listening to the missionaries!
