Very first I have to tell everyone that Derek got attacked by Nico's bed yesterday morning, so that's what is on his head.
Yesterday we went to Abilene to see the Grace Museum. It is an historic hotel that was turned into a museum. They have sculptures and paintings, but they also have a kids museum on the second floor. My favorite thing we saw was called The sound wall. It was a bunch of wood pieces organized in a weird pattern. When you touched a piece of wood, it would make a sound. It was pretty neat.

Then we headed up to the second floor. When you first walk in, they have this wall of stuff you can do- a pipe organ, pulleys, clocks, and a whole lot more.
Then we moved on to the life size operation board. Cassie thought it was pretty cool that she could just grab the pieces with her hand and not make it buzz.
Then, the Ambulance. Nico and Cassie drove while Derek fixed the guy in the back.

Derek found an area where they had the systems of the body. He thought it was very cool to slide all the systems to the side because the bones were in the back.
One of Cassies favorite things was the groove room. Its a dark room where you dance in front of a group of lazers. The lazers transfer your image onto the screen as you dance.

After the dance room, Derek went back to the ambulance while Nico drove a model train and climbed in the tree house. Cassie followed him around.

Now Nico's favorite part- The Texas Tornado. This little machine creates a dust devil like twister that you can touch and manipulate. It was neat.

After the museum we went outside to wait for mom. A few blocks down, they were having a mini car show type thing so we went to look at cars. Derek liked the one the police department did.
I was also told that I dont have enough pictures of Cassie up because she's been in the backpack for most of our adventures, so here is a bunch of random pictures of her throughout the day.
