Last day

So our last day was mostly spent packing and getting ready to leave tomorrow, but we did get out a bit in the afternoon. We picked Nico up from school early so we could all go to the nature center here in town. They have all kinds of animals that are native to west texas, and I wanted to see what there was around here. Here are the boys playing in the t-rex footprint. They were pretending to be dinosaurs.


The we went inside. Here is Nico pretending to beat up the wild animals.

Here are some pictures of the native wildlife. Most of the animals were snakes... go figure.



The boys loved the snakes. Derek especially loved the snake skin; Nico not so much.



After the Nature Center, we wanted to go to the Railroad Museum, but it was closed. We just played on the trains out front instead.


Then Nico had baseball practice.

And last, we went to dinner with my dad.

This trip has been so fun, but I have to admit I'm ready to go back home, relax, check my email,see what everyone has been commenting on here and check everyone elses blogs! I haven't had a free minute to sit at the computer except to put these posts up :)
