Now that spring is here, we have so many new friends according to Derek. We have bumblebee friend, red bird friend, squirrel friends, woodpecker friends, yellow spider friend, and scary bee friends (hornets). All of these animals have taken up residence around our house, and even though he despises some of them being around him (scary bee and yellow spider friends), he said I can't get rid of them because they are his friends. I think his favorite is Woodpecker friend because he likes the way it chirps and pecks the trees for bugs!

How cool! I lived in Georgia for 5 weeks, and in Texas for a year and a half, and I have to say that my absolute favorite thing about the south is the bird population. They're pretty boring up here and they're all just brown. Down there you get all kinds. Great pictures!
