Tonight was Derek's first game. He was so excited, but not really sure what to do. He followed his coach around until the game started (he really likes his coach) He did so well! In t-ball where he plays, they try to hit the ball with the coach pitching a few times and then they try the tee. Derek didn't even have to use the tee. Both times he went up to bat, he hit it off a pitch. He knew exactly how to run the bases and when to run. When he went to outfield, though, he got a little discouraged. The ball wasn't getting hit to him and he wanted to show his coach how he can catch the ball and throw it really fast. Overall, he did really well. We went to Burger King afterwards for a special treat. Crown chicken nuggets, his favorite! He was just bursting with excitement. He said he wants to do another game tomorrow. He just had alot of fun.
