Today we went to the Gardens because their daffodils were blooming. It was quite an interesting day. First, it was quite cloudy and cold. The flowers were beautiful though. The kids enjoyed walking and picking shells out of the falls. We walked all over the park and then took a break for lunch, which is where our first accident happened. We were all sitting on a bench at Carpenter dam eating Burger King when Derek fell off the park bench and hit his head. After Derek's accident we went down to the dam because they had all the gates open and the water was flowing really good. Then we went back to the park. Derek couldn't find his band to get back in the park, so I searched the car for it, when the second accident happened. I got attacked by his car seat and got a cut on my head. We walked toward the park when we realized Cassie soaked her clothes and needed a new diaper, our third accident. We headed toward Daffodil Hill to play in the daffodils, which is where our fourth accident happened. The three older kids were playing on the paths through the field and Meaghan tripped on a stepping stone and scraped up her side. Despite all the wonderful accidents, the weather cleared up and made our park experience quite enjoyable. It became a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed our day at the Gardens.
