Today we went to The 5th Annual World's Shortest St Patrick's Day Parade. It takes place here in Hot Springs on Bridge Street. Bridge Street is a grand total of 98 feet long, thus being the shortest distance a parade travels on St Patty's. We always have a celebrity come, and this year it was Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs. We got there early to take some pictures of the fountains and the gardens downtown. When we got there though, the area was packed. So we went ahead and got in our spot where we waited for almost 2 hours! Once it finally started though, we had a blast. Keith got to see Mike Rowe, which to him is pretty cool. Derek got to see Bobby in the Tiller Rig, and Cassie slept though 90% of it. I had fun seeing Derek get so excited about all the things going on. He also enjoyed showing off his outfit to everyone who paid attention. Afterwards we walked around and had to come home a little earlier than we wanted to because it started pouring. We all had fun, but I think Cassie was ready to go home because all the music was a little loud.
