JD's Cambodian ceremony and meeting his future wife

This weekend mom and I took at drive up to Ohio to go visit my brother and meet his future wife and family. They were having a traditional Cambodian ceremony in celebration of their marriage. It was very cool to see. I have alot of pictures and a pretty good detail of what went on, but I am still pretty exhausted from the trip and dont much feel like sitting at the computer. :) This is Monica here with JD. We have spoken several times over the phone and through text messages, but never in person. She's just as cool as I pictured her. :) Her family is also wonderful and I enjoyed every minute of being there.

A few minutes after this, monica was whisked away to start getting ready. Here they are in their Khmer clothing they wore for the ceremony.

And here they are in the Khmer clothing they wore afterwards. They looked amazing!

All the immediate family in attendance- Me and mom, Andrew (brother) and her mother, along with future husband and wife.

Wow, I can't believe JD is getting married! I still remember him as a 13 yr old boy. How did he and monica meet? Tell him congrats!
