Derek has learned the pledge of allegiance in school. He was very excited about it. When I asked if he wanted to call anyone and tell it to them, he said "Nope. I just want you to put it on your camera, then take it off on the computer, and put it on your blog. That way everyone can hear it". So per Dereks request, the Pledge of Allegiance.
he had a little bit of stage fright at first, and forgot he had to talk, but as soon as I prompted him, he remembered what he was doing. :)

Outstanding! Derek, I hope that you will think deeply about what that pledge is saying. We all need to give full allegiance to our country, and it is refreshing to see someone your age saying the pledge with a smile on your face.
DAH! I'm at work. We have new internet rules placed upon us by Atilio-the-internet-Hun. He's my IT guy. I can't watch videos. Guess I'll have to remember to sit at the computer when I get home! Your kids are so cute!
