On Saturday, I went on a road trip to Texas with Dana to pick up her sister. We had to drive all the way to Baytown (8 hours one way) and all the way back in one day. It was kind of our gift to each other to get out of the house for a day without any men or kids. It was nice. Of course, both of us forgot our cameras, but I did manage to take a couple pictures with my phone. Here is us soon after we crossed into Texas. Ther was nothing to look at but trees and churches.
7 hours later, we arrived at Krogers. (thats where Courtney works). It was so nice and sunny.
We waited around for a bit for her to get off work and took off. Here is a random picture of dana salsa dancing as we wait in traffic to get through Houston.
Oh yeah, here's Courtney
On our way through Houston, Keith called. By the time I got off the phone, we were lost. We turned around at this building
and fully blame Keith for us loosing our way :)It was so nice and sunny all through Texas, but as soon as we crossed the border, it started pouring. I was not excited to get back to flash floods and thunderstorms, but I missed my family. We had a nice relaxing mothers day (mainly because we couldnt do anything because of the rain). It was a nice weekend.

You do the craziest things! Everyone tells me I'm nuts to go to Logan and back in one day - only 2:10 one way. So are you going back to texas when Amy moves down for Josh's baptism when I hope I'll be there?
When is it?! I would love to go :) re they going to be back in SA town or in Houston?
We're going to good ole SA! And can't wait to get there, even if it will be in July. The baptism will be mid- to late August. See you there!!! By the way, that trip sounds just like something I would do that my husband would think I was crazy for.
I might only be there for a day or so without the kids, but im sure i could come :) Its so fun to go random places
it's not my fault! Both of you get lost going to the bathroom, and i should know because I have lived with both of you.:)
Right Keith! I mean, that's just plain WEIRD...the ex- and the current spending that much time together. Yikes! Only my perpetually cheerful daughter!
