Oh yeah! The snake...

On the way to the hike Saturday, we saw the biggest snake I've ever seen. I know he looks small in the picture, but the plants around him are actually very big. Anyway, we saw him stretched all the way across the road- at least 7 feet! He was so long! We got out of the car, and for some reason, Keith felt the need to pull his tail so he would turn around (he was trying to slither off). Well, as you can imagine, it just made him really mad and he started hissing and striking at us. It's not the timber rattler that I've been waiting to see since forever, but definitely the biggest I've seen so far. I thought it was cool enough to mention.
