Our Hike to Crystal Vista

Sorry posts have been slim, but Ive been working alot and getting ready for my 3 week trip to Texas. On top of that, it has been raining, raining, raining. This post is about Saturday. We went to a hike up a mountain to an old crystal mine so the kids could dig for crystals. They had so much fun.





Cassie was in such a BAD mood, so the girls tried their best to cheer her up, but it didn't work.


The only thing that made her "happy" was carrying around our jar of peanut butter. I didn't get it, but whatever. It made her stop crying. Here are a bunch of pictures of her with the peanut butter so you all can be boggled like I was. :)




It was extremely humid, but the kids found alot of crystal chips, so they were happy.
