So tonight I needed something to do while I was watching the elections (should have just gone to bed) so I decided to make some decorations for Thanksgiving since I dont have any. Derek and I went to Hobby Lobby and everything was 50%. We got some unfinished cutouts, a wood wreath, paint, leaves and some little trinkets to paste on the cutouts. I think they turned out pretty okay since it was my first time making decorations on my own. Here are some pictures (mostly for you mom- thanks for the ideas!)

yes yes I do hahaha I like the whole "be a crafty, save some money by doing it yourself" mom. It's kinda fun. And I was the last person I would have thought to like this kinda stuff
Oh sweetheart, they're darling! You are so much more creative than your old mom. Hope you had a ball making everything. I'm sure Derek thought it was "cool" too!
You did a great job. It's looks very fall. You are so good at decorating.
