Christmas Fever has Spread

Yesterday we went to buy my Christmas tree so I wouldn't have to go today by myself. I was so excited to get to have one to put up the day after Thanksgiving. Well, after we put all the kids to bed, Keith was looking at the box. He decided we needed to set it up to see how it looked and to make sure we like it and then we'll put it back until after Thanksgiving (he has never had a fake tree before). Once we got it all fluffed and assembled (it's WAY bigger than it looked in the store). He said it looked weird, so he wanted to see how it looked lit. After we strung the lights, he said it still looked a bit bare. When I told him the ornaments would fill it out some, he doubted me. We put a few on and he decided I was right. When I asked him if he was ready to take it down (after being at it for 4 hours) he gave me the evil eye. So we just finished it. Nobody comes to our house anyway so the only people who see it is my family.

Then today the kids and I went to Hobby Lobby and they had their holiday mugs on sale. I got a few snowman mugs and taught Derek how to make snowman soup. He thought it was terribly funny to drink a snowman.
