Haunting at Cedar Glades

Today we went to Cedar Glades for the first annual Haunting at Cedar Glades. Pretty much it was like a carnival themed for Halloween. The had games, vending, hay rides and haunted trails. First we hit up the food and the games. Derek won a bat and got some hot chocolate. Here 's a couple snaps of the kids while we were enjoying our drink and the scenery.

Then Derek met a friend while we were waiting for it to get dark. They played together with their bats.

Then we went down the frisbee golf trail a bit to see the wood bridge. It was quite impressive. It was three stories tall at one point and Derek thought it was fun to climb.

As soon as it got dark, we went to wait for the hayride. They had a big bonfire and Derek went to warm his hands.

Then, the haunted hayride. We couldn't take pictures on the trail, but we did get a couple pictures before and after we left. Even though our driver got lost, we had fun and Derek said it was pretty spooky, so mission accomplished!

I seriously think these comments made him realize what a sourpuss he comes off being with all you guys' comments... so thank you, because he has smiled more for pictures in the past month than the rest of the 7 years I've known him combined! Thanks guys! :)

Cassie looks like she's just not really sure about the hay....

this picture was after the hayride, so she has her cautious face on... gotta be ready for when those people jump out of the trees!
