Some pictures of derek's day

We really haven't done much the past couple of days, but today Derek did stuff. This afternoon he went down to the creek with his Grammy. (it runs near our house, and is usually mild enough for children to play in it) Every time we get a good storm, the creek rises, and its fun to see how it looks. Cassie and I stayed home because it was still raining and I wasn't feeling well.

It was up quite a bit... to the point that Derek wanted to stick by Grammy. A few trees were knocked down and the creek was flowing over the sidewalks. It was even coming up through the manhole covers. These pictures are courtesy of Grammy.


Then this evening Derek dressed up like a soldier (this is what he decided to be for halloween) and marched around the house with his little soldier backpack. I just thought it was funny.
