The Ballon Competition

My favorite part by far was the balloon race. So many people gathered in the grass to watch the balloons.


First, we got to watch them blow up. That was neat because we got to see the vents and the top designs that you wouldn't otherwise see.




Then they went on their course. The objective was to fly over an X and drop a towell on it. Whoever was closest without touching the ground wins. They flew right over the top of our heads.





Derek was kind of bummed because his favorite balloon veered off course and crashed into the hanger.


This went on until the sun started going down. What a fun event full of colors!
