Dirt Cupcakes

So Derek is REALLY excited about Halloween so today we made some dirt cupcakes (chocolate frosted cupcakes with crumpled oreos and gummy worms). Derek thought this was way cooler than the bones because it "looked gross". (the mosquitos are especially bad right now, so we're spending alot of time inside) Anyway, he pretty much did all the work himself. He loves to bake.

This is him separating the dough from Oreo so we can crumble the cookies to make dirt. He loved eating the cream fillings! :)

So after we baked and frosted the cupcakes, Derek decided that some of the cupcakes didn't need "dirt" on them because "it'll fweek gwammy and aunt cawla out", so he put sprinkles on them.
He was kind of bummed out that he couldn't mail some to our far away family members, so he told me to take some pictures and tell them that he will make them next time they visit us! :)
