This morning Derek found a new friend... Horace the turtle. The kids have been playing with him all morning. They set him up a house with food and everything. They are not happy with me because I told them they can't keep Horace forever, but they are having fun with him right now :)

How fun! We have a park in town with a pond where lots of turtles live. My kids beg all the time to go to the park so they can try to catch one. We've tried a couple of times, but no luck so far. I'll have to show Megan your pictures. She will be jealous!
Nice! Was it in your yard? Have Derek dig up some worms - the turtle will chomp them down!
That first picture is such a Keith face! I can't believe how much she's growing up. You know, before long Derek will have named every critter in your yard something funny!
