So I just looked and realized I haven't posted anything in quite a while. We've taken 2 vacations, returned home and tried to get back into the swing of things before school starts. At our house we're doing a switcharoo with bedrooms... and trying to get it done before school starts next week. Derek is moving to the bigger bedroom and cassie is going to dereks old room.
Derek decided he's leaving Thomas behind and decorating his room in camo. After a very heated debate, I finally convinced him that we don't have to paint his walls entirely camo for it to be cool. He got brown with a couple camo colored squares to match his bed, couch and fan. :)He likes it so I'm happy. (and we're not done yet, but at least you can get the idea)
Cassie wanted a pink princess room. After going through MANY paint samples, this is the color we put up. (she would cry and say 'that's not pink! this one is pink' [referring to the color that the room was eventually painted])It is one girly room (ignore the bad job at pasting the pictures together haha)She is thrilled to have her own space that is all about her.
Oh i cant forget the rug... she loves her castle rug...
So, I'm trying my best to keep busy, which isn't hard to do since i set myself such a short deadline :)

Wow! Good job! I really like the compromise in Derek's room. You are sure ambitious!
Love them. You are so artistic. I'm glad y ou posted. We had such a good time at the reunion. So glad we had it.
