Yesterday was earth day. The nursery I work for teamed up with chick fil a and we did a tree planting and gave away marigolds. My coworkers Tim and Todd and I went to help the kids repot marigolds into bigger pots. My kids went too and had a blast.
And as a gift to myself for earth day, I bought my new obsession. We just got these roses in at work called Rock and Roll roses, but I have renamed mine an Alice in Wonderland rose (because they paint the roses red and thats how it looks to me). I am absolutely in love with it and took a few clippings off of it to see if i can root a couple more :)

I am so jealous that you work in a nursery. Except I think if I did I would mever bring home a paycheck, because I would buy everything. That rose is BEAUTIFUL! I love it! Does it make you sing?
You see, now that i somewhat know plants, I am running into that problem- i want to buy everything. Thankfully my yard is small and I cant plant too much :)
And I do sing every time i look at that rose haha it makes me happy :)
