Today Derek had an Easter party at school. They did an egg hunt and then a mini party in their classroom. All the kindergarteners lined up to hunt together. Their task was to find 12 eggs (each egg was numbered 1-12 and they had to find one of each) These are just a few pictures of the easter egg hunt. He had alot of fun!

That's a great idea! Good way to help them learn. I am surprised they let you say Easter in school, though.
Amen to everything Jeny said. Dylan is doing relay for life tonight, and they actually said a prayer to start the night off! I was shocked! I think this one is sponsored by U of I. I thought about taking the kids to the Easter egg hunt on campus tomorrow until I walked out into the COLD wind and snow this morning. There's supposed to be more of the same the rest of the weekend. So we'll keep our Easter festivities inside. Glad Derek got to have fun with his!
