The second place we went was Village Creek State Park. It is the 2nd largest state park in the state and in home to a large chunk of the original trail of tears. By the time we got there, though, it was getting too dark to hike. We decided to get a cabin. Here is the sunset behind our cabin.

We woke up this morning to snow. Cassie sat by the window for the longest time just watching it.
Then we embarked on our trail of tears hike. Very cold and very long, but very pretty.
