Meet Debbie

Today we went to the park by the house. Cassie missed her brother while he was at school, so she really enjoyed spending time with him.

Derek, of course, invented himself a friend. Everyone, meet Debbie.

Derek stalked this butterfly all over the park.



Once he was able to get up close to it, he talked to it a little, and when we decided to go to the swings the butterfly followed him. When we went to the playground, it followed him. When we headed to the car, it followed him there too. (yes, it was the same butterfly cause it would move to the new location and just sit there and flap it's wings until we moved on) It was so cute because Derek was just tickled that the butterfly liked him. When we left, he said we had to name it, so it's name is Debbie (i dont know why) and he said we have to go back to the park tomorrow to see her again. :)
