Here is Derek's first class picture. He is the youngest in his class, and of course, just like his mommy, is the tallest in his class. He's the tall one in the back. His best friend Dimitri (the one he's always in trouble with) is in the front row, second from the right. The girl who likes him (she's always picking on him and giggling about it), Ashlyn, is to the right of Dimitri. He said he doesn't care for her much. :) His other best friend he said is Miss Hardage, on the left side of the picture. He loves his class!

Ok, so this might sound a lot weird. But in this picture I think he looks like Keith. Maybe it's the lack of smiling...I don't know.
Like farther like son. If you smile, people wonder what you are up to (and will ask). If you frown, people will leave you alone.

I think that when they say "when you live together, you start to look alike" I think thats what we have going on here... or it could be the fact that keith and i look alot alike... except for he's so serious and im not :)
Poor Derek! The look on his face says it all, "NOT another picture! My Mom is ALWAYS taking pictures!" Actually, he's probably pouting because someone in authority told him to stay still for a few minutes. The boy is on overdrive! Not in a Nico way, but in a little boy wanting to know and experience everything way.
