I have been so tired lately, so I'm sorry that these are delayed. :) I was looking at my familys' blogs and just admiring how beautiful my etended family is. I love being able to see all my cousins dressed in their Easter outfits on Easter. They all looked so great! Anyway, here is our Easter...
We had our big Easter celebration on Saturday because that was the best time for everyone in the family. We decided to do it at Cedar Glades park. Its nice and flat and has a cute stream... perfect for an easter egg hunt.
We had a picnic with a very colorful setup, meviled eggs, and a bunny carrot cake.
Then onto the hunt. The undergrowth was starting to get thick, thus adding to the fun. :)
Our clothing theme for this event was plaid. Most of us wore shorts and Jerry and Carla found these cute plaid shoes!
Then the kids played some fun themed easter games that their grammy planned for them. They had alot of fun.
After the party, we went with Keiths brother and Carlas sister to shoot Jerry's rocket and fly kites. The kites did pretty good, but we lost the rocket.
On Sunday, it was ugly out and Keith had to do some work, so we didn't do much. The kids got their Easter baskets in the morning, we made a fort in the living room, and pretty much just hung out all day. It was a fun weekend.

Looks like lots of fun. We ahd rain all day:(. So, what are meviled eggs? And did you see that picture of you and Keith? It's great and he is smiling! Nickell and I are all ready to get him to smile a LOT when you are here for Thanksgiving. I'm super excited!
meviled eggs are a thing off some cartoon where the deviled egg yolk is dyed. They were pretty good! This is his happy face :)
