The Tank Park

Today we went to the tank park. It's a little park downtown with a retired tank sitting in it. Derek thinks it's awesome. He took his toy tank down there to play with them together. Derek absolutely loves this park. He asked me if we could take the big tank home because it can fit in our yard. :) He thought it was kind of cool to sit the little tank under the big tanks gun and ask a million questions: what soldiers do with the tanks, why it has so many wheels, if grandpa drives tanks, could he drive one when he's big like dad, where do the soldiers sit, why doesn't it move etc. It's pretty funny how much he wants to know and how much he remembers. He's a sponge!
