Im still here :)

So hi. Im still alive. I realized I haven't posted anything because I REALLY dont want to try and catch up. Im not going to let that make me lazy, because I just keep getting more and more behind. Let me give you a quick rundown of whats happened- Keith and I worked, we all were sick with one thing or another, a curse of brokeness plagued us, Derek and the girls started school, Cassie misses him, nature has been beautiful, my brothers getting married and I have been trying to help him with that as much as possible, and we've just been hanging out as a family and enjoying time together. Im going to start fresh with this weekend.
We went to Eureka Springs this weekend. It is where my brother is going to get married. It reminds me ALOT of Manitou Springs. It is a very cute little tourist/ shopping town, so if you go, bring money. :) First though, on the way up there we stopped at a scenic overlook in the Ozark mountains on Highway 7 (if you ever have a reason to drive through Arkansas, take this highway. Its very pretty). It is beautiful there and the hills go on for miles.

Then Keith dropped me off in Eureka Springs so I could check out the wedding site while he went to set up camp. Very cool hotel.

While I was waiting for my family, there was a VW parade through town. There were VWs from as far as Ohio. Apparently they have their gathering here once a year, and Saturday was the day this year.

Once my fam got back, we of course wandered around looking at stores and went to look at some of the springs this town is known for. There were stairs everywhere and Cassie was determined to navigate them herself.

We camped in Withrow Springs. I dont have any pictures there though. We had to leave kind of early to get the girls home on time. On our way home, we stopped by and saw the worlds largest tuned windchime. You can find some of the weirdest stuff just driving around.

We also stopped at Booger Hollow (named this to mock the hillbilliness that is northern arkansas- it fits right in with other still existent towns such as Toad Suck, Forty four, Cotton Plant, who-da-thought-it,Yellville, Ink, Greasy Corner, Goobertown, the list could go on and on haha). It used to be a place where you could get info on the area but within the past couple years it has been abandoned.

Then we came back home. Here are just a couple random pictures of the two littlest ones. They enjoy their time together so much.

And a couple more random pictures.

I'm glad you are back too. Really glad. I thought you must be sick.
I wish I could come to the wedding. Send pictures. That will be so weird to have JD married. Have fun.
Love you so much.
