Dereks homecoming Parade

On Friday, Derek had a Homecoming parade at school. (his school has all the buildings on one campus- primary, intermediate and high school) The homecoming court, cheerleaders and football team made a tour of the campus on their "floats". All the classes lined the roads to cheer for their team. Here are some of Derek's class friends...

AH! Finally the football team! He was so excited and cheered so loud. We were lucky enough to have the float stop in front of our class, which is when Derek started talking to the team. He told them all about how he was going to be on the team when he was bigger, how he was going to do good in school so he could play all the sports, and how he was going to be an astronaut after school was done (after high school he means). Luckily for the football team the float started moving again before Derek told them the rest of his life's goals. :) He sure loves to talk. :D
