For the last three weeks, we have vigorously been working on our kitchen. (it is my goal to redo every room in this house- one a year usually) Dereks room and the living room are done, but it made me sad to sit in my nice living room and look into my kitchen. Its not completely redone, but I think it looks alot better (still need a couple knobs, have to fix a cabinet and clean up a little etc). Here are some pictures of the kitchen about a month before we moved into it. (beware... its gross cause the people who lived there before were kinda nasty, but rest assured we cleaned it before we moved in)
I realized I avoided taking pictures in here because I disliked the floral wallpaper with an extreme passion, so I'm very happy its gone :) So anyway I painted the walls blue and the cabinets a very light blue to match my floor. Yay! It's done.

did you re-do the floor, too? It looks different, but I can't tell if it's just another area of the house, since it all looks so different. Way better!

Thanks guys! It was the most work I've done in a long time. Painting cabinets isn't fun! Yeah we did the floor too. It was ripped in several places and REALLY gross. Laying linoleum also isn't fun, especially when you say "we dont need those tools. We'll figure it out some other way" haha

I'm so proud of you! It looks wonderful. So much cleaner and brighter. You never knew you'd turn into the domestic/remodeling type, did you?
Mom, after I get done with this house, I'm either going to buy a house thats already perfect, or earn enough money to pay somone to do it for me :) I NEVER want to do a kitchen again haha A learning experience, at least :)
